About

Francesco Cauda is a landscape architect and photographer based in Paris. Holding a Master of Fine Arts in Urban Design and Landscape Architecture, he shaped his design experience working with several European practices across France, Italy, and Denmark. His deep engagement with the built environment naturally extends into his photographic practice. Approaching each site with the trained eye of a designer, he intuitively grasps its structural composition, materiality, and underlying intent. Through precise visual narratives, he seeks to capture and communicate the true essence and value of realized spaces.

Work

Every project possesses its own spatial and temporal density. Moving away from systematic quantity, the approach goes straight to the essential. By prioritizing narrative weight, each series is crafted as a distilled visual story that reveals how a space is truly used and experienced. To capture these distinct atmospheres, the work is developed across both high-definition digital and analogue formats.
